Tierra Roja Vineyard Tierra Roja Cabernet Sauvignon is made exclusively from the grapes of our own vineyard, located in Oakville, at the heart of the Napa Valley. Since the inaugural vintage of 2004, Tierra Roja has been met with rave reviews from wine professionals and consumers alike. The wine retails for $150/bottle, limit 6 bottles per customer, from the winery or may be enjoyed at many fine restaurants. Winemaker, David DeSante, really captures the essence of the soils in this powerful, yet elegant wine. 2013 was a vintage blessed with even temperatures and just enough rainfall. Overall the growing conditions were perfect and the crop naturally balanced. The result, the same gorgeous wine you have come to expect year after year. The name comes from the distinct red earth that gives Tierra Roja grapes their unique flavors. Owner, Linda Neal, has been growing grapes at this location for over 27 years, though vineyards were planted here as far back as the 1920s. For over 20 years Linda had been a vineyard manager, tending vineyards for other owners. Now, she concentrates full time on her own vineyards and wines.
