After the testing on Saturday, there was time to continue moving into my dorm room, small but sweet.  The Mills College Campus, where Middlebury (based in Vermont) makes camp for the summer, is a charming campus of stately buildings, one more beautiful than the last.  I reside in Warren Olney Hall.  I had participated in the Oakland Wine Festival here two years ago and so, I knew how lovely it would be.  Breakfast, lunch and dinner are included in tuition.  The food is surprisingly good, really all fresh and healthy options.  I had been prepared for 8 weeks of pasta, but no.  I enjoy the food, and even the walk up the steep hill to the Founder’s Hall, where it is served.  At 8:30 in the evening, we were treated to the first of our mandatory, weekly movies in Arabic, “Captain Abu Raed”.  Excellent, perhaps you can find it on YouTube.  The Language Pledge does not go into effect until Monday.
